For my card, I wanted to do a shabby chic vintage look with pastels. As most of you know, I'm more of a bright & dark gal when it comes to coloring. But, I absolutely love vintage pastels. When I craft I use them a lot, but not necessarily when I'm making cards with my Copics. I think it's because my Copic coloring tends to be so bright. Even this card was a little more vivid than I anticipated. I'm going to try harder to blend this look more often with my Copics.
For the Tattered Angels butterfly, I used glimmer mist in Daffodil, blotted off the excess to keep it light, and let it dry, then sanded it and added Colorbox Orchid ink. Orchid is a gorgeous candy pink color. I then swiped it with some Martha Stewart glue and covered it in glitter. I dyed the seam binding with some Copic Various refill in a mister.
Copic Markers: B00, B02, BG0000, BG01, BG05, BG10, BG15, BG34, G000, G20, YG11, E40, W-3, FYG1, FYG2
