[click pics for larger view]

So much news to share today!!

First, I am SO thrilled to be a finalist in the Unity Bachelor Bro Challenge!! I am one of the lucky 7 finalists that get to compete for an amazing Unity prize package!! HOW EXCITING IS THAT?!?!? My entry is a few posts down, or click here. Many thanks to Unity for hosting such amazing challenges, and of course, big thanks to the Unity bachelor himself, Mr. Ryan BROman!

If you haven't joined the party over at the Unity forum at SCS yet, be sure to stop by, because it is one FUN group!! Unity always has something amazing going on, including their latest endeavor....

It's Your Ippity Opportunity!

Intrigued by the new blinkie?? Unity launched it's sister company called {ippity} yesterday! It's a wonderful NEW stamp line sold only by independent {ippity} sellers. These stamps will not be found on the store shelf or at online retailers, nor will they be for sale at the Unity site. How can you get your {ippity} stamps? You can either purchase them from an {ippity} seller, or become an {ippity} seller yourself. To see a temporary list of sellers, click here. To find out how you can become an {ippity} seller, click here.

Now, it's time for Friends with Flair Friday at Unity Stamp Co.! See the Unity blog for a complete list of today's Friends with Flair.

It should come as no suprise that I love making backgrounds! For these I used the Bevy of Butterflies and Le Chic Vintage kits. I inked up the butterflies with two shades of ink. I traced around each butterfly with my Sakura gelly roll in Silver Star. It's super glittery. The script background is from Le Chic Vintage, which was the September scrapbook kit of the month. October and November are still available at Unity. September is available at Paper Maniac.

Update 11/2: Finally got this finished just in time for the Unity Bachelor Bro Challenge #7 over at Splitcoast Stampers! Remember how I made this at 11pm after a day full of Disney...well I realized the challenge was to make a box, bag, or tag..so I had to convert my card!! ;o)

Including a funnel cake topped with brownies, choco syrup, whip cream and powdered sugar! Oh, ya!

Yep, there's that bingo stamp again! I LOVE it!!

Supplies:
Unity: Game of Chance Bingo, Hauntingly Sweet["Happy Halloween"]

This cold really knocked the wind out of my sails, so just a few quick cards. Being sick sure can ruin your creative mood!
*ADHESIVE TIP* The new Martha Stewart adhesive ROCKS!! I got the mini permanent rollers and I LOVE them!! They are like 2.5 inches x 1.5 inches x .75 inches. So perfect for smaller hands or kids! Easy to use and refillable!! And, best of all, it's slightly pink so you can see where you're applying!

For the strip behind the mermaid, I embossed cardstock, inked the raised areas, sprayed with glimmer mist, then inked the edges.

The Greeting Farm: Mermaid Anya, Down by the Pond {"Fintastic"}
Cuttlebug embossing folders
Brilliance ink: Platinum Planet
Martha Stewart punch around the page: Scallop 3-dot

2 Sketches 4 You: Laura's Sketch 37

[click pic for larger view]

Here's a quick card I made based on Laura's sketch #37 over at the 2 Sketches 4 You blog. Be sure to check out the blog for some amazing samples by Laura and the DT!

These flowers are the funnest to make!! I discovered them today over at the Pink Paislee blog.
See the FLOWER TUTORIAL POST HERE for Holly's AMAZING tutorial.

Just think of the possiblities!! You can glimmer mist them, glitter them....they are SO fast and easy to make. You can even cut the petals differently.
I coated one with Rock Candy distress paint. It's drying at the moment....

Tips:
The smaller you cut your square, the harder they are to work with. The flowers on my card above started out as 4", 3", and 2.5" squares. That little one was a pain!
Also, if you don't have big enough brads, you can use buttons. That's what I did.

Have fun!! I cannot wait to play and experiment with these tomorrow!!

Stamps:
Unity: Game of Chance Bingo
The Greeting Farm: Flutter Anya

If you haven't already, please see my DT announcement in the post below! I hope you play along with us this week!
