It's hard to catch a good frog....

Would't it be nice to catch a magic frog? I'd make him do my laundry, go to the grocery store and all those boring chores, so I can play in blogland and get caught up!!
Well, I can wish right? Until my magic frog gets delivered, I'm still catching up. "See" you all soon!

I used some of my favorite sets from My Cute Stamps:
Royal Celebration
Elegant Birds
Lots of Love

I just love these new birdcarge stamps!! Also be sure to check out the MCS blog: Creating Cupcakes for some adorable inspiration from the rest of the DT!

Happy 100th Flutter By Wednesday!

100 happy wishes to Flutter by Wednesday and Danni!!!
In honor of this extraordinary blog's 100th challenge, the DT is using all butterflies! As a special surprise, inspired by Karen, the team put together some amazing butterfly boxes. Please see Karen's adorable butterfly box projects here. Please also see the rest of the DT's butterfly boxes and creations by viewing their links in my sidebar.

I am thrilled to announce that I've been asked to stay on as a permanent Flutter By Wednesday member!! I'm honored to be part of such a wonderful and amazing group of ladies!
Unfortunately, I could not download the amazing template for the project, so I substituted with this special FBW banner for our "100th post party". It is my tribute and 'thank you' to Danni for all her hard work! She is one of the most inspiring and supportive gals ever!! Thanks Danni!

Supplies: Copic Markers, Sakura Clear Stardust pen, MS bat punch, Prima flowers, Versamagic Pumpkin Spice, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Radiant Rain and glimmer mist, Versamark, UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel)

To make the background: First I embossed heavy weight cardstock with my Cuttlebug embossing folder. I then sprayed several layers of Radiant Rain and Tattered Angels glimmer mist. I then rubbed a little Versamark cube in various spots. Sprinkled some UTEE on top of the Versamark and heated with my heat tool, from the BOTTOM of the cardstock, just until the UTEE melted. If you want it to look like water drops...the key is to sprinkle and heat just enough to melt it. If you overheat it, it will run together and you will lose the water drop effect.

ETA: Candle coloring tip: (This is for you Rinne!)
For this image, I colored the parts inside the candle glow just like the rest of the image, but, with a very light hand. Then, I used my colorless blender over it, several layers, to lighten it up. The flame is YR16, YR68, and Y00. Y00 is excellent for candles, because it has a glow to it (it's the yellow I also use on the "It's My Birthday" image candle). I then used the Sakura Stardust pen around the edges. Ching-Chou's candle image includes all the amazing detail you see, so it makes it easy to color!

If you want to see the exquisite original ACEO artwork of this image, please visit Ching-Chou Kuik's amazing gallery and Ebay store. This image is available as an ACEO print here.

Another Fluttery Whimsical Wednesday

Create a card using butterflies, fairies or angels and base it on this Tinkerbell photo for your inspiration! Hope you play along this week! If you do, please submit your card to Mr. Linky, here.

My card today is a mix of Alice meets Tinkerbell...or what if Alice were a fairy!! That wonderful "Alice" sentiment is on the Sweet Pea Alice Sentiments plate.
