Supplies: Copic Markers, Sakura Clear Stardust pen, MS bat punch, Prima flowers, Versamagic Pumpkin Spice, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Radiant Rain and glimmer mist, Versamark, UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel)
To make the background: First I embossed heavy weight cardstock with my Cuttlebug embossing folder. I then sprayed several layers of Radiant Rain and Tattered Angels glimmer mist. I then rubbed a little Versamark cube in various spots. Sprinkled some UTEE on top of the Versamark and heated with my heat tool, from the BOTTOM of the cardstock, just until the UTEE melted. If you want it to look like water drops...the key is to sprinkle and heat just enough to melt it. If you overheat it, it will run together and you will lose the water drop effect.
ETA: Candle coloring tip: (This is for you Rinne!)
For this image, I colored the parts inside the candle glow just like the rest of the image, but, with a very light hand. Then, I used my colorless blender over it, several layers, to lighten it up. The flame is YR16, YR68, and Y00. Y00 is excellent for candles, because it has a glow to it (it's the yellow I also use on the "It's My Birthday" image candle). I then used the Sakura Stardust pen around the edges. Ching-Chou's candle image includes all the amazing detail you see, so it makes it easy to color!
